Job summary

Roland Berger in the United States seeks a Senior Consultant to join the Automotive Practice in Chicago, Detroit, or Boston. You will work with automakers, suppliers, mobility players, and tech firms to address electrification, autonomous mobility, software-defined vehicles, and evolving business models.

You’ll define strategies, operating models, and AI-enabled initiatives, while mentoring juniors and contributing to business development in a fast-changing market.

Qualifications

• MBA or PhD/MA/MS in relevant field; quantitative and analytically oriented.
• 5+ years of relevant industry/consulting experience.
• Experience in strategy or management consulting.
• Understanding of Auto industry business models and dynamics.
• Strong analytical skills, qualitative and quantitative methods.
• Ability to think independently and take initiative.

Responsibilities

• Analyze market, financial, operational and client data to identify insights and recommendations.
• Structure problems into workstreams, hypotheses and analyses.
• Build financial models, business cases and quantitative analyses.
• Prepare client presentations with clear findings and implications.
• Develop realistic work plans with deliverables and timelines.
• Mentor and develop junior colleagues and contribute to knowledge sharing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across geographies.
