Job summary
Placements24 is seeking a Senior Automotive Software Developer in Randburg to lead the development of in-vehicle infotainment, ADAS, and connected car solutions. You will work across design, implementation, testing, and deployment within an agile team to deliver robust, high-performance software.
The role requires expertise in embedded automotive software, strong coding skills in C++, Python, or Java, and familiarity with AUTOSAR and automotive protocols.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in software development with focus on automotive embedded systems.
- Proficiency in C++, Python, or Java, and experience with embedded software development environments.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain software for automotive embedded systems including infotainment, ADAS, and connectivity modules.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in C++, Python, or Java.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers, system architects, and product managers.
- Implement and test software components, adhering to AUTOSAR, CAN, LIN standards.
