Job summary

NXP Semiconductors NV in Austin, TX is seeking an experienced SoC Verification Engineer to own verification planning, build SystemVerilog/UVM environments, and drive end-to-end verification for automotive SoCs. You will verify ARM-based subsystems and interconnects, pushing functional and code coverage to sign-off.

The role requires strong SystemVerilog/UVM skills, experience with VCS/Xcelium/Verdi, and collaboration with Architecture, Design, Firmware, Validation, and Safety teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in EE, CE, CS, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in SoC/IP verification.
• Strong expertise in SystemVerilog, UVM, and SVA.
• Experience with ARM-based SoCs and industry-standard protocols.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute SoC verification plans and strategies.
• Build and maintain SystemVerilog/UVM based verification environments.
• Verify features including ARM subsystems, AXI/PCIe/DDR/Ethernet, and ISO 26262 related aspects.
• Drive functional and code coverage closure and debug RTL/testbench.
• Collaborate with Architecture, Design, Firmware, Validation, and Safety teams.
