Job summary

NXP Semiconductors in Austin seeks an experienced SoC Verification Engineer to own verification planning, testbench development, execution, debugging, and sign-off for automotive SoCs.

You will build SystemVerilog/UVM environments and verify features such as ARM-based subsystems, interconnects (AXI/ACE/CHI), DDR, PCIe, Ethernet, and Functional Safety interfaces, collaborating across Architecture, Design, Firmware, and Safety teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in EE, CE, CS, or related field.
• 4–5 years of experience in SoC/IP verification.
• Strong SystemVerilog, UVM, and coverage debugging skills.
• Experience with ARM-based SoCs and AXI/PCIe/DDR/Ethernet protocols.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute SoC verification plans and strategies.
• Build and maintain SystemVerilog/UVM-based verification environments.
• Verify features including ARM subsystems, interconnects, DDR, PCIe, Ethernet, and Security/Boot.
• Debug RTL, testbench, and system-level issues.
• Collaborate with Architecture, Design, Firmware, Validation, and Safety teams.
• Support post-silicon debug and customer issue resolution.
