Job summary

Magna International in Moonville, SC, is seeking an experienced engineer for APQP leadership and program management within the Cosma group. You will drive feasibility, quality, cost, and timing for production launches, managing changes, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration across suppliers and customers.

Requires 5 years of automotive experience, strong tooling knowledge (die, welding, sealer), and proficiency with data reporting tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• 5 years automotive experience required.
• Understanding of die/die processes, assembly tooling, welding & sealer applications, CMM & datum alignment.

Responsibilities

• Lead APQP activities for assigned programs, ensuring feasibility, quality, cost, timing, and SOP objectives.
• Manage engineering changes including customer communication, change control, and documentation.
• Conduct feasibility studies, engineering reviews and business case analyses for new programs and investments.
• Maintain and control critical quality documentation (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans, KPI).
• Collaborate with customers, cross-functional teams, suppliers and tooling vendors to ensure successful execution of changes and requirements.
