Magna International's Cosma division in South Carolina seeks an experienced automotive program engineer to lead APQP activities, ensuring feasibility, quality, cost, timing and launch objectives through SOP. You will coordinate with customers, suppliers and cross‑functional teams to drive successful engineering changes and program execution.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and about 5 years of related automotive experience, plus strong leadership, teamwork and Microsoft

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• 5 years related automotive experience.
• Die/die process, assembly tooling, welding & sealer applications, CMM & datum alignment, data processing & reporting, customer tolerance concepts.
• Previous project/program management experience required.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Power Point, Project, Word.

Responsibilities

• Lead APQP activities for assigned programs from feasibility to SOP.
• Manage engineering changes including customer communication and documentation.
• Conduct feasibility studies, engineering reviews, and business case analyses.
• Maintain and control APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans, KPIs and related records.
• Collaborate with customers, cross-functional teams, suppliers, tooling vendors, and commercial departments.
• Drive quality and process compliance through corrective actions and audits.
• Monitor program performance through KPI tracking and support lean initiatives.
