Job summary
General Motors Company is seeking a Power Electronics Engineer to join the Compute & Connectivity Hardware (CCH) organization. You will lead design, development, validation, and integration of power delivery solutions across GM's ECU portfolio, driving technical excellence and engineering standards.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years designing power electronics for automotive or high-performance embedded hardware systems.
- Experience with 400V-800V automotive circuitry (propulsion, charging, BMS, or DC-DC).
- Expertise with IGBT, SiC, and GaN switching technologies and related design considerations.
- Knowledge of power conversion topologies, power supplies, voltage regulation, and high-current distribution.
Responsibilities
- Design power delivery architectures across 12V-48V and 400V-800V domains.
- Perform power simulations for efficiency, regulation, transient response, thermal, and stability.
- Drive power integrity, EMI/EMC, thermal, and reliability optimization.
