Job summary

Ed Napleton Automotive Group in Carmel, IN is seeking an Automotive Master Technician to diagnose and repair vehicles to manufacturer standards. This role offers a competitive pay range plus incentives, and opportunities for advancement within a large multi-brand dealer group.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years as a Master Technician, ASE or manufacturer certifications are a plus, and a proven, process-driven approach. Relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Master Level Technician required.
• ASE and or Manufacturer certifications are a plus
• Ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is process-driven
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications - brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
• Adequate explain technical diagnosis and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals which may include employees and customers as required.
• Continuously update technical skills and techniques in formal training sessions to stay abreast with rapidly changing automotive technology.
• Keep store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur.
• Maintains an organized and neat service bay
