NVIDIA Corporation is seeking a Lead Customer Safety Engineer to act as the main safety liaison for automotive customers integrating NVIDIA hardware into safety-critical systems. You will lead safety discussions, guide internal teams, and ensure compliance with rigorous safety criteria across hardware platforms.

Role requires deep ISO 26262 knowledge, at least 12 years in the field, and strong leadership in cross-functional environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical, computer or hardware engineering (or equivalent).
• At least 12 years’ experience, with 3+ years in automotive functional safety or safety engineering.
• Solid ISO 26262 understanding including hardware safety concepts and SEooC development.
• Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication and teamwork.
• Ability to lead complex technical discussions with OEMs, Tier 1s and cross-functional teams.

Responsabilités

• Represent NVIDIA’s functional safety strategy and architectures to the customer.
• Serve as the principal customer interface for hardware safety topics and translate needs to internal teams.
• Assist customers to safely integrate and validate NVIDIA products in their systems and vehicles.
• Coordinate Development Interface Agreements and clarify safety responsibilities.
• Support customer-facing safety collateral and tailor safety platforms and analyses.
• Lead resolution of customer safety questions, gaps and change requests with SMEs.
• Mentor junior engineers and establish consistent safety review practices.
• Collaborate with safety management, architects, engineering, sales and marketing to deliver safe products.
