Job summary

Arm Limited's GPU Safety team is seeking a skilled Functional Safety Engineer to help deliver safety solutions for next-generation GPUs used in automotive and robotics.

You will collaborate with architecture, hardware, verification and software teams to develop safety concepts, analyses and work products across the product lifecycle, ensuring ISO 26262 compliance and safety milestones.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of ISO 26262 and functional safety concepts.
• Experience in RTL design of complex ASICs/IPs/SoCs.
• Experience with DFMEA, DFA, FTA or FMEDA safety analyses.
• Ability to create and manage safety requirements and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review functional safety work products per ISO 26262.
• Create and maintain Safety Plans, Safety Cases and Safety Manuals.
• Perform safety analyses using DFMEA, DFA, FTA or FMEDA.
• Support hardware/software teams in deriving safety requirements.
• Write and manage safety requirements across the lifecycle.
• Participate in Functional Safety audits, assessments and reviews.
• Support tool qualification activities as needed.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of safety methodologies.
