General Motors is expanding its in-house electronics capabilities to support next-generation Central Compute, ADAS, and software-defined vehicle platforms. The Senior Electrical Hardware Engineer will contribute across electrical architecture, hardware integration, and validation to deliver robust ECUs.

In this hybrid role, you will lead schematic development, component selection, and bench bring-up, collaborating with software teams on HW/SW interface definitions and system readiness for

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 7+ years in automotive or high-complexity electronics.
• Strong analog and digital circuit fundamentals.
• Hands-on bench debugging experience.
• Experience with WCCA and DFMEA.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to hardware architecture including power topology, high-speed interfaces, clocking, resets.
• Develop and review schematics for mixed-signal and high-speed designs.
• Perform component selection considering automotive qualification and reliability.
• Provide PCB layout guidance for signal integrity, power integrity, grounding and EMI.
• Lead bench bring-up with power-on sequencing and clock validation.
• Debug hardware with oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.
• Develop HSIS and align HW/SW interfaces.
