Job summary

Med-National Staffing Inc. is seeking an experienced Process Engineer with strong automotive manufacturing expertise to support development, implementation, and optimization of production systems within a General Assembly environment for SUV production.

This role emphasizes safety, quality, efficiency, and cost performance while collaborating across teams. You will lead process development for new and existing products, design workstation layouts, and drive PFMEA, control plans, standard work,

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
Minimum 6 years of Process Engineering in automotive or high-volume settings.
Experience supporting General Assembly, including equipment launches and ramp-up.
Startup/greenfield scaling experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Develop, validate, and optimize manufacturing processes to meet production goals.
Lead process development for new/existing products, including workstation design.
Create PFMEA, control plans, standard work, and launch readiness docs.
Analyze production data to reduce bottlenecks and improve OEE.
Lead root-cause investigations and implement corrective actions.
Collaborate across Engineering, Quality, Production, and Supply Chain.
Support facility layout, equipment selection, and material flow improvements.
Drive continuous improvement focused on safety, quality, uptime, and cost.
