Job summary

RESRG Automotive is seeking a Corporate Assembly Engineer to lead assembly feasibility, equipment development, and production readiness across programs and NA locations, with 20-30% travel.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define robust assembly standards and support launches from design validation to handover, requiring 5–10 years in automotive manufacturing and fluent English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a technical discipline.
• 5–10 years of automotive manufacturing or equipment design experience.
• Strong knowledge of assembly equipment design, development, validation, and production readiness.
• Experience preparing equipment statements of work and supporting sourcing, supplier reviews, and installation.
• Proficiency with CAD tools such as CATIA, NX, SolidWorks or equivalents.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams, plants, suppliers, customers, and leadership.
• Fluent English; German or Spanish a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Provide feasibility feedback for new assembly processes and equipment concepts.
• Develop and maintain standards, equipment strategy, and shared lessons learned.
• Guide cross-functional teams on robust assembly strategies.
• Plan and execute equipment pre-acceptance, final acceptance, ramp-up and handover.
• Establish robust assembly processes meeting quality, timing, safety, and production requirements.
• Support launch readiness reviews with risks and action plans.
• Provide plant support for equipment-related issues and continuous improvement.
• Communicate status and escalate issues to leadership.
