Marelli is seeking a hands-on Software Architect / Senior Software Engineer to lead the technical direction for an Automotive Instrument Panel Cluster ECU. You will drive architecture decisions, improve platform stability and software quality, and contribute across the full product life cycle.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Electronics (or equivalent).
10+ years of embedded software development with leadership/ownership of complex components.
Strong proficiency in Embedded C, debugging, and real-time design.
Experience delivering software for automotive ECUs (IPC experience a plus).
Strong problem-solving and end-to-end investigative skills.

Responsibilities

Own and evolve IPC ECU software architecture, including module boundaries and interfaces.
Develop and maintain production embedded software in C; use Python for scripts as needed.
Lead technical decisions for new features and platform improvements with focus on quality and performance.
Perform system-level debugging, root-cause analysis, and defect resolution.
Mentor engineers and uplift team capability through hands-on guidance.
