Job summary

Hitachi Astemo Americas, Inc. is seeking an experienced engineer to support the development of automotive ECU hardware, including analog/digital circuit design, EMC design, and prototype testing.

The role involves leading engineers across sub-projects, coordinating with customer teams to meet requirements, and occasionally traveling to global locations to drive program goals to production readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical and/or Computer Engineering
• 5–8 years of automotive ECU development experience
• Ability to lead and mentor engineers and interface with customers
• Willingness to travel domestically to global locations (approx. 10%)

Responsibilities

• Support the development of automotive ECU hardware from concept to production
• Analyze and simulate analog and digital circuits; support EMC design and PCB layout
• Lead and mentor sub-teams; coordinate with customer engineers to meet program goals
• Travel to multiple global locations to support project development
