Astemo Ltd. seeks a talented automotive EE HW Engineer for the Design Engineering group to design, develop, and validate ECUs. You will join a team that blends creativity with rigorous engineering to deliver next‑gen automotive hardware.

The role emphasizes analog/digital hardware, EMC, schematic capture, PCB layout, and test of hardware and firmware, with collaboration across manufacturing, software, and customers in a global setting.

Qualifications

BS or MS in Electrical Engineering with focus on power electronics and circuits.
3-5 years of hands-on automotive ECU design experience.
Experience in analog/digital hardware for automotive control systems.

Responsibilities

Analyze system requirements and customer needs for ECUs.
Interface with multi-disciplinary teams to discuss projects.
Modify hardware designs to meet performance requirements.
Prepare schematics and manage PCB layouts for hardware concepts.
Perform analysis, simulation, and verification of analog and digital hardware and firmware.
Develop and manage test specifications and their execution.
Support manufacturing teams to release hardware designs to production.
Represent the employer in customer meetings to discuss findings and recommendations.
Travel domestically and internationally up to 10% for project support.
