Job summary

LEONI Wiring Systems, Inc. in Troy, MI is seeking a systems engineer to organize E/E schematics for our North American development.

You will independently process E/E designs and represent LEONI in front of customers and partners, reporting to the Head of Harness Design in Troy. Responsibilities include creating wiring DEF imports, HRN/CMP/CSV files, inline pinouts, and system-level DVP&R, while supporting DEF quality and guiding junior engineers.

Qualifications

• 5 years’ experience in full vehicle systems engineering projects (Stellantis preferred).
• Experience with Capital Logic/Integrator or equivalent schematics tool.
• Strong interpersonal skills and professional representation with customers.
• Understanding of harness, inline, and device-to-harness partitioning.
• Knowledge of ground and network topology.

Responsibilities

• Import Wiring DEF for all families and sub-suppliers.
• Troubleshoot data and software issues with customers and partners.
• Train or support junior team members.
• Create hrn/cmp/csv files from imported DEF.
• Support DEF quality checks and create inline pinouts.
• Create system-level DVP&R and determine inline device transmittal requirements.
• Provide splice information to DRE for 3D integration.
• Wire harness troubleshooting for the full vehicle.
