Job summary

Ford Motor Company in Dearborn, Michigan seeks an EDS Systems Supervisor who leads wiring systems engineers, coordinates with Systems Integration and CAE, and drives design verification for vehicle EDS topology and inline connectors.

You will develop logical and physical schematics in E3, approve device transmittals, mentor engineers, manage CAE analyses, and ensure cost, quality, and schedule targets while supporting breadboards and Phase I ECAR work.

Qualifications

• BS in engineering and 5+ years of automotive EDS experience.
• Vehicle launch experience is required.
• In-depth knowledge of vehicle program design process and E/E systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise wiring systems engineers, providing technical guidance and mentoring.
• Develop and support logical schematics and create physical schematics using E3.
• Select wire sizing, wire type, color, and option coding to satisfy EDS requirements.
