Job summary

Capital Hyundai of Jacksonville is seeking an experienced Automotive Diagnostic Service Technician to join a busy, growth-oriented shop. You’ll perform advanced diagnostics and repairs across electrical, drivability, engine, and transmission systems, using manufacturer resources to identify root causes and ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

Previous experience as an automotive diagnostic technician required.
Hyundai or Kia certification strongly preferred.
Strong electrical and drivability diagnostic skills.
Ability to troubleshoot complex repair concerns efficiently.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Team-oriented mindset with a strong work ethic.
Commitment to quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Perform advanced diagnostics and repair on vehicle electrical, drivability, engine, transmission, and mechanical systems.
Accurately identify root causes of customer concerns using diagnostic equipment and manufacturer resources.
Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
Work closely with service advisors and fellow technicians to ensure timely communication and exceptional customer satisfaction.
Perform inspections and recommend additional repairs or maintenance as needed.
Maintain accurate repair orders and documentation.
Stay current on Hyundai systems, technology, and manufacturer standards.
