Job summary

Capital Hyundai of Jacksonville is seeking an Automotive Diagnostic Service Technician to join our busy shop. You will perform advanced diagnostics on electrical, drivability, engine, and transmission systems, identify root causes, and ensure high-quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Experience as automotive diagnostic technician required.
• Hyundai or Kia certification strongly preferred.
• Strong electrical and drivability diagnostic skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex repair concerns efficiently.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced diagnostics and repair on vehicle electrical, drivability, engine, transmission, and mechanical systems
• Accurately identify root causes of customer concerns using diagnostic equipment and manufacturer resources
• Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship
• Work closely with service advisors and fellow technicians to ensure timely communication and exceptional customer satisfaction
• Perform inspections and recommend additional repairs or maintenance as needed
• Maintain accurate repair orders and documentation
• Stay current on Hyundai systems, technology, and manufacturer standards

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Perform advanced diagnostics and repair on vehicle electrical, drivability, engine, transmission, and mechanical systems

Schedule / Work-Life Balance:

We offer a great schedule designed to give you time outside of work:

• Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM

• One Saturday per month: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

• The following Monday off
