Job summary

Comunidade Metodista is seeking a Dealership Controller to lead the accounting function, ensure accurate monthly financial statements, and drive profitability across multiple stores. You will supervise accounting staff, prepare forecasts, and manage payroll processing and intercompany reconciliations.

The role requires 5+ years in automotive dealership accounting, strong leadership, and expertise with DMS and accounting software.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of automotive dealership accounting experience.
• Proven leadership and team management experience.
• Strong proficiency with dealership management systems and accounting software.
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and timeliness.
• Ability to work effectively with multiple departments and senior leadership.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and report monthly financial statements per dealership and manufacturer guidelines.
• Compile and submit financial statements and data for performance groups or executive reporting.
• Hire, train, manage, and supervise accounting personnel.
• Prepare weekly and monthly forecasts in coordination with the General Manager.
• Calculate and post monthly commissions for department managers.
• Provide timely reports on income and expense trends by department and store.
• Oversee payroll processing and payroll tax entries.
