Job summary

Roush is seeking an Assembler Senior in Livonia, MI to support low-volume production of specialty vehicles and components. You will mentor junior assemblers, improve production methods with manufacturing engineers, and contribute to quality and efficiency across programs.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent, at least 5 years of automotive experience, and proficiency with computers. Willingness to learn new fuel systems and perform fabrication tasks is essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of automotive experience.
• Ability to learn alternative fuel systems.
• Proficient with computer usage.
• Ability to analyze production methods and address quality concerns.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex component, product and vehicle assembly
• Train and mentor lower-level assemblers
• Work with Manufacturing Engineers to evaluate and refine production methods
• Support continuous quality improvement and production efficiency efforts
• Perform functional and visual quality inspections as needed
• Perform off-line repairs as needed
• Learn and perform assigned production procedures to support vehicle and product production
• Perform work on vehicle systems
• Perform fabrication duties to include grinding, cutting and drilling using fixtures and templates
