Job summary
Roush is seeking an Assembler II in Livonia, MI to perform basic assembly and installation duties and learn from a senior assembler in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities include training with a senior assembler, assembling parts, following build books, moving materials, maintaining cleanliness and safety, and performing basic fabrication using fixtures and templates.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Automotive shop class experience preferred.
- Ability to follow written and electronic instructions.
Responsibilities
- Train with a Senior Assembler to assemble products and sub-components to support vehicle production and other products.
- Support vehicle and material movement in and around facility.
- Follow electronic build book for assembly instructions.
- Clean and prepare components and vehicles for production.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Follow established safety procedures.
- Learn and perform assigned production procedures to support vehicle and product production.
- Perform work on vehicle systems.
- Perform fabrication duties including grinding, cutting and drilling using fixtures and templates.
