EPAM Systems Inc is hiring a Senior Automation Tester to design, build, and scale a test automation framework for a desktop application using .NET. You will apply AI-assisted development to accelerate framework delivery and ensure long-term maintainability.

You will automate UI and API tests (gRPC/REST), integrate with Azure DevOps pipelines, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve coverage and quality. Strong C#/.NET, CI/CD, and Agile experience are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in test automation with C#/.NET
• Desktop UI automation experience
• Design test frameworks from scratch using NUnit/xUnit/SpecFlow
• API test automation (REST, gRPC a plus)
• CI/CD integration, Git, and Agile/Scrum
• Familiarity with AI coding/testing assistants for automation frameworks
• English proficiency at B2 or higher
• Nice to have WPF/WebView2 testing, Playwright, or Selenium
• Knowledge of gRPC, OPC UA, and industrial protocols
• SQL skills; background in scientific/healthcare software

Senior Automation Tester

We are seeking a Senior Automation Tester with strong .NET expertise to design, build, and scale a test automation framework for a desktop application, leveraging AI-assisted development practices to accelerate framework delivery and ensure long-term maintainability.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain the test automation framework for a WPF/WebView2 desktop application
• Apply AI-assisted development approaches to accelerate framework build-up and keep it easy to extend as test coverage grows
• Automate UI, API (gRPC/REST), and integration test scenarios
• Integrate automated suites into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines
• Define automation strategy, coverage goals, and reporting
• Validate instrument-integrated workflows together with manual QA
• Analyze failures, investigate defects, and maintain suite stability
• Collaborate with developers, architects, product owners, and DevOps
• Leverage AI-assisted tools for test design, coverage analysis, defect investigation, and rapid authoring of new automated tests

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in test automation with strong proficiency in C#/.NET
• Hands-on experience in desktop UI automation
• Skills in test automation framework design from scratch using NUnit, xUnit, or SpecFlow
• Experience in API test automation (REST, Postman/Swagger); gRPC is a plus
• Expertise in CI/CD integration, Git, and Agile/Scrum
• Solid understanding of test design techniques and risk-based testing
• Familiarity with AI coding/testing assistants (GitHub Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, etc.) for building and scaling automation frameworks
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher
• Nice to have Experience in WPF / WebView2 testing, Playwright, or Selenium
• Knowledge of gRPC, OPC UA, and industrial communication protocols
• Skills in SQL
• Background in scientific, laboratory, healthcare, or instrumentation software
