Job summary

TekWissen Group is seeking an experienced Automation Engineer for a 6-month hybrid assignment in Charlotte, NC. The role focuses on design, development, and execution of automated tests across UI and API layers, leveraging Playwright (JS/TS), Selenium, and BDD/Cucumber.

Ideal candidates will implement scalable test frameworks, contribute to CI/CD integration, and collaborate with development and product teams to improve test coverage and quality.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in test automation and quality engineering.
• Proficient in Playwright with JavaScript/TypeScript, Selenium WebDriver, and API automation.
• Experience building scalable test frameworks and integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts.
• Create and execute UI and API automation tests.
• Develop robust automation solutions using Playwright with JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Build and maintain automation scripts using Selenium WebDriver.
• Implement BDD frameworks using Cucumber and reusable test scenarios.
• Perform API testing and automation for RESTful services.
• Analyze results, identify defects, and collaborate with Dev teams.
• Participate in test strategy, estimation, and release validation activities.
• Ensure automation suites are integrated into CI/CD for continuous testing.

• Seeking an experienced Automation Engineer with 10+ years of experience in test automation design, development, and execution.
• The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript), Selenium, BDD/Cucumber, and API Automation to support end-to-end quality assurance initiatives across web applications and services.
• The role requires a hands‑on automation professional who can build scalable test frameworks, improve test coverage, and collaborate effectively with development and product teams.
