Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking a Senior Automation Tester in JS to join an Agile product team supporting customer-facing web applications and APIs. The role blends automation development, functional testing, and collaboration with developers to ensure high-quality releases.

The candidate will develop and maintain automated tests, enhance frameworks, and create coverage for new features and regressions. Strong communication and ASI skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in test automation for web applications.
• Experience with Node.js and modern automation frameworks such as WebDriverIO or Selenium.
• Skills in API testing and automation using Postman or similar tools.
• Understanding of software testing principles, test design, and defect management.
• Experience using Git-based source control systems.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated test execution.
• Familiarity with test management tools such as qTest or TestRail.
• Experience with cloud-based test execution platforms such as LambdaTest.
• Experience testing authentication and authorization APIs.
• Experience working in Agile teams.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated tests for web applications and APIs.
• Enhance and support existing automation frameworks and test utilities.
• Create automated test coverage for new features and regression scenarios.
• Execute functional and regression testing as part of the release process.
• Investigate test failures and defects, and work closely with developers to identify root causes.
• Review requirements and contribute to test planning and test case design.
• Support integrations between automation frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and test management tools.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional team members.
• Share automation knowledge and best practices within the team.
