Job summary

Frequentis USA Inc. is seeking an experienced Automation Test Engineer to design, implement, and maintain automated regression suites.

You will integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and produce dashboards and reports for release programs, while troubleshooting failures and contributing to process improvements. The role requires 5+ years in automation testing, strong skills with Selenium, JIRA/JAMA, and familiarity with GitLab/Jenkins and Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• BS in IT/CS/EE or equivalent with IT and telecom hardware/software
• At least 5 years automation test-related experience
• Hands-on with automation tools such as Selenium
• Familiar with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins)
• Understanding of containerization/virtualization such as Kubernetes
• Experience with bug-tracking systems (eg. JIRA) and Test Management Systems (JAMA)
• Strong written and communication skills for stakeholders
• Excellent problem solving, analytical and technical troubleshooting
• Ability to work on multiple tasks and teams
• QA methodologies and Agile/Scrum processes knowledge

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with manual testers, DevOps engineers and integration lead to identify automation candidates
• Design, develop and implement automation regression test suites that validate features end-to-end
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for quick feedback in release cycles
• Manage and produce automation dashboards, test reports and metrics
• Troubleshoot valid test failures and false negatives to improve stability
• Fully document defects/unexpected anomalies identified during automation testing
• Identify and propose areas of improvement throughout the release process
