Qualifications

• Minimum six (6) years of relevant work experience.
• Proven record for completing tasks with a driven desire for solving problems.
• Degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
• Experience with PLC programming languages and troubleshooting.
• Two or more years computing or software environment experience.
• Proficient knowledge of robots and servo control systems.
• Experience in medical device manufacturing is preferred.
• Understanding of logical and sequence controls.

Responsibilities

• Fault-find sophisticated automation equipment.
• Develop strong problem solving within lens manufacturing.
• Know and apply control systems across the plant (PLC, vision, lasers, RFID, robots).
• Publish comprehensive trouble shooting articles.
• Contribute to knowledge transfer to grow on-shift skills.
• Serve as first contact for automation software line-down issues.
• Collaborate with Automation Engineers to fix line run issues.
