Job summary

Nordson MEDICAL, a global leader in interventional solutions, is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Technician in Saint Petersburg, FL. You will provide electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, maintenance, and technical support for automated assembly and test equipment.

Responsibilities include supporting robotics, machine vision, ultrasonic welding, leak testing, and process improvements, while participating in IQ/OQ/PQ validation and Lean initiatives.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent technical training.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing automated manufacturing equipment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience using electrical test equipment on low-voltage DC and 120/240 VAC.
• Understanding of PLC ladder logic and industrial controls.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain automated assembly and test equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and automation issues.
• Support feeders, robotic pick-and-place systems, and part alignment equipment.
• Troubleshoot and maintain Fanuc robots, Cognex & IR vision systems.
• Support ultrasonic welding, leak testing, and pressure decay testing equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and equipment repairs to minimize downtime.
• Assist validation activities (IQ, OQ, PQ) and Lean initiatives.
