Nordson MEDICAL in Chattanooga seeks a Production Associate I to set up and operate automatic or semi-automatic machinery in a continuous production environment. You will monitor controls and ensure adherence to production specifications.

The role includes in-process quality testing, maintaining raw material inventory records, updating batch records, reporting malfunctions, and performing minor equipment adjustments while following safety and quality standards.

• Operating automatic or semi-automatic machinery within a continuous production environment.
• Performing in-process quality tests (e.g., hardness, weight, variation, pH, moisture content) to confirm products meet standards.
• Maintaining accurate inventory records of raw materials used in batch manufacturing.
• Completing and maintaining up-to-date batch records and production documentation.
• Identifying, reporting, and addressing equipment malfunctions or process abnormalities.
• Making minor equipment adjustments and repairs as appropriate.
• Performing all work in accordance with established safety, quality standards.
