The role emphasizes expertise in robotics, machine vision, ultrasonic welding, leak testing, and process improvement to support production and quality teams.

Qualifikationen

• Associate degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering Technology or equivalent technical training.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing automated manufacturing equipment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience using electrical test equipment on low-voltage DC and 120/240 VAC systems.
• Understanding of PLC ladder logic and industrial controls.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Aufgaben

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain automated assembly and test equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and automation-related issues.
• Support feeder bowls, robotic pick-and-place systems, and part alignment equipment.
• Troubleshoot and maintain Fanuc robots, Cognex vision systems, and IR vision inspection systems.
• Support ultrasonic welding, leak testing, and pressure decay testing equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and equipment repairs to minimize downtime.
• Support equipment validation activities (IQ, OQ, PQ).
• Monitor machine performance and recommend improvements.
• Assist production, maintenance, engineering, and quality teams with technical issues.
• Interpret electrical schematics, pneumatic diagrams, and mechanical drawings.
• Participate in Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.

Senior Manufacturing Technician

Job Summary

The Senior Manufacturing Technician provides electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, maintenance, and technical support for automated assembly and test equipment. This role supports production through expertise in robotics, machine vision, ultrasonic welding, leak testing, and process improvement.

• Experience with leak testing and pressure decay testing systems.Ability to connect to and monitor PLCs, HMIs, robots, and vision systems.
• Experience with plastic injection molded components.
