Job summary

Nordson Test & Inspection seeks a Senior Assembly Technician to join our manufacturing and engineering teams. You will build, align, and calibrate optical sensors and related systems, using precision tools and diagnostic instruments.

You will coordinate with hardware and software manufacturing engineers, develop test procedures, and document changes to maintain product quality. This role reports to the Production Supervisor and operates within standard core hours.

Qualifications

High School diploma with 10+ years as an Assembly Technician.
Able to read drawings, specs, procedures and tolerances.
Strong troubleshooting skills to differentiate sensor vs system issues.
Experience with SAP ERP and Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

Build, align, and calibrate sensors with hand tools and precision instruments.
Support production and engineering with testing and troubleshooting.
Analyze test results and adjust equipment to specifications.
Set up precision optical and mechanical measurements.
Coordinate with departments to install, align, troubleshoot, and document changes.
Read diagrams to generate assembly and test plans.
Participate in daily production meetings to resolve issues and meet build plans.
Assist in supporting production capacity to meet revenue plans.
