Job summary

URBN Inc USA is seeking a Senior Automation Reliability Technician to own the health and performance of automated material handling and packaging systems. You’ll diagnose complex electrical/mechanical faults, lead RCA efforts, and guide maintenance teams on conveyors, ASRS, and sortation lines.

You’ll troubleshoot PLCs, VFDs, servo motion, and industrial networks, while coordinating with OEMs for upgrades. Strong CMMS use and safety leadership are essential on this night shift role.

Qualifications

• Mentor Maintenance Technicians I & II and emphasize safety.

Responsibilities

• Pinpoint and resolve advanced mechanical, electrical, and controls issues on conveyors, sortation equipment, ASRS and packaging lines.
• Perform deep-dive troubleshooting on PLC platforms, VFDs, servo motion, and industrial networks.
• Act as technical owner for designated systems, tackling faults and integration challenges.
• Lead RCA activities and implement improvements to reduce downtime and boost throughput.
• Coordinate with OEMs and vendors to address escalated issues and upgrades.
• Capture work history, performance data and recommendations within CMMS.
• Coach and mentor Maintenance Tech I & II and support capital projects from planning to commissioning.

Step into a senior technical role where you own the health and performance of highly automated systems.
