Job summary

Nix is seeking a Senior AQA Engineer with C# to join our distributed QA team. This role concentrates on building robust UI/API automation using Selenium and Playwright, contributing to a global insurance-focused platform built on Microsoft Azure, and ensuring software quality across services and microservices.

You will collaborate in Scrum teams, mentor peers, optimize test frameworks, and help drive the automation strategy while delivering reliable releases for clients worldwide.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of testing experience with at least 3 years in UI/API automation.
• Experience with Web Application testing and API testing using REST.
• Strong knowledge of OOP, SOLID principles.
• Experience with microservice architectures.
• Experience with CRUD services.
• Proficiency in C# language.
• Familiarity with QA processes, methodologies and tools.
• Willingness for manual testing.
• Knowledge of SQL Server and T-SQL, Visual Studio, Git, Selenium, Playwright, Xray, and Page Object Model.
• Knowledge of modern QA practices, tools, and techniques.
• Self-organizing, problem-solving, and collaborative work style.
• Experience working in agile/Scrum with JIRA.

Responsibilities

• Write automated test scripts to verify software meets business needs.
• Develop understanding of business operations.
• Record and monitor QA test results.
• Enhance existing automation back-end and front-end framework.
• Coach others in the QA team.
• Provide QA effort estimates in refinement sessions.
• Help drive the test automation strategy across the business.
• Run performance tests and validate results against standards.
• Assist in UAT by teaching end users how to use the software.
• Be an active Scrum team member to improve processes and deliverables.
