Joseph Michaels International is seeking a Sr. Project Engineer to design and manufacture fully customized automated assembly equipment for diverse industries. You will take a project from concept to completion, managing resources, timelines, and design release cycles.

Your work may involve robotics, vision systems, welding, fixtures, controls, material handling, and high-speed assembly. Excellent communication with customers and internal teams is essential.

Qualifications

• BSME or equivalent degree required.
• 5+ years of project design experience for customized automated production equipment.
• SolidWorks proficiency required; welding and GD&T experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal verbal and written communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Design the overall concept and lead design engineers and contractors on large projects.
• Manage resources, break design work into tasks, and communicate milestones and timelines.
• Incorporate robotics, vision systems, welding, fixtures, hydraulics, pneumatics, and high-speed assembly as needed.
• Regularly update customers and management on project status.
