Job summary

Chemours in Fayetteville, NC is seeking a Manufacturing Technology (MT) Automation & Process Control Engineer to join our Nafion exchange materials team. The role focuses on automation, process controls, instrumentation, and electrical systems to improve safety, quality, yield, and uptime.

You will troubleshoot, implement control-system modifications, and support capital projects while partnering with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and project teams at the site.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Engineering with 5+ years automation experience.
• Experience troubleshooting DCS and PLC in manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of electrical and motor-control systems and instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide automation, electrical, instrumentation, and process-control support.
• Develop and implement control-system modifications for projects.
• Troubleshoot DCS/PLC issues affecting operations.
• Support safety initiatives and capital-project activities.
• Coach and train plant personnel as needed.
