Job summary

Markent Personnel in the Greater Milwaukee area is seeking a Lead Automation Maintenance Technician to support Allen-Bradley/Siemens PLCs on high‑tech automated lines. This direct-hire role offers up to $38 per hour plus shift differentials, robust bonus plans, and a comprehensive benefits package.

You will diagnose and repair electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems, trace schematics, and own maintenance on robotic cells and high-speed equipment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on experience in industrial maintenance of high-speed production lines or automated equipment.
• Experience diagnosing and tracing faults in PLC environments (Allen-Bradley or Siemens).
• Ability to read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and fluid power diagrams without guidance.
• Proven reliability with strong attendance and long-term commitment to prior employers.
• Residence within a reasonable commuting distance of the Greater Milwaukee, WI area.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose automated production lines using mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic diagnostics to keep lines running.
• Interface with Allen-Bradley or Siemens PLCs to trace faults and clear stoppages.
• Read and trace schematics and drawings for emergency repairs and preventative maintenance sequences.
• Maintain fluid power systems including pneumatic valves and drives.
• Work with 480V power systems, AC/DC drives, VFDs, and control circuits.
• Perform light fabrication such as welding or structural modifications as needed.
