Job summary

Job Juncture is seeking a Lead Automation Maintenance Technician for our Allen-Bradley and Siemens PLC-driven production lines in the Greater Milwaukee area. This role offers high autonomy, a collaborative shop floor culture, and a path to technical ownership of complex automation lines and robotic cells.

You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and maintain high-speed equipment, with a focus on reliability, safety, and performance.

Qualifications

3+ years hands-on maintenance of high-speed production equipment.
Automation & PLC diagnostic skills on automated equipment.
Ability to read electrical schematics and blueprints.
Proven tenure and reliability with previous employers.
Local commute within 45 minutes of Greater Milwaukee, WI.
Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident (Green Card).

Responsibilities

Diagnose automated production lines with real-time mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic diagnostics.
Trace PLC logic and controls on Allen-Bradley or Siemens PLCs to resolve faults.
Interpret schematics and drawings for emergency repairs and preventative maintenance sequences.
Maintain fluid power systems including pneumatics and valves.
Service AC/DC drives and power distribution up to 480V and VFDs.
Perform light fabrication and welding for equipment modifications.
