Job summary

System One is seeking an Automated Equipment Maintenance Mechanic to support Littleton, CO operations onsite. The role focuses on maintaining automated manufacturing equipment and ensuring minimal downtime through hands-on electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and control expertise.

Applicants should have extensive PLC troubleshooting experience and familiarity with high-speed automation, RF welding, and control systems.

Qualifications

HS degree (or 2 year degree with some experience)
10+ years of experience
2+ years of hands-on automation experience in a heavily regulated industry
Experience supporting equipment design improvements
Experience in the fabrication of mechanical and electro-mechanical systems preferred
Experience in high speed automation

Responsibilities

Provide expert troubleshooting for automated manufacturing equipment across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and control systems.
Use PLC ladder logic to resolve machine control issues and minimize downtime.
Partner with engineering to execute process validations and develop solutions to improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
Contribute to design reviews, URS, PFMEAs, and testing during new automation projects.
Conduct preventive maintenance on automated systems and monitor equipment data for trends.
Proactively solve problems and optimize production performance.
