Samtec is seeking a Technical Maintenance Supervisor for all shifts in its connector manufacturing operations in Indiana. The role focuses on leading maintenance for automated equipment, coordinating technicians, and ensuring safety and reliability across processes.

The candidate will manage staff, drive preventative maintenance, and collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve issues and improve throughput. A background in machining tools and a high school diploma is preferred.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of experience as a Technician on automated machines in a manufacturing environment.
• Must have 20/40 correctable vision.
• Must be capable of lifting 70 lbs. and have full use of all digits.
• Ability to stand and/or sit for 90+ minutes.

Aufgaben

• Ensure the general safety of all Automation/Hand Fill equipment.
• Coordinate schedules for technical group to ensure adequate Technician coverage.
• Manage staff performance and evaluations.
• Procure tools, supplies, and equipment required for technicians.
• Coordinate projects on existing machinery to improve quality, throughput, and safety.
• Run Preventative Maintenance programs for manufacturing equipment.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and customer service to resolve automation issues.
• Interface with engineering on tooling and machinery for new projects and products.
• Possibly handle hazardous materials.
