Job summary

Grifols in Los Angeles, CA seeks an experienced Supervising Engineer for equipment maintenance leadership. You will guide predictive, preventive, and corrective programs to ensure reliable plant operations and safety for internal customers.

The role requires a Bachelors in Electrical/Automation, 5+ years of manufacturing experience, and 2+ years in supervision. You will manage budgets, comply with cGMP/OSHA/FDA/EPA/UL, and lead automation projects with PLC/HMIs.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Engineering: Electrical or Automation.
5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment (cGMP a plus).
2+ years in technical supervision and leadership responsibilities.
Understand regulatory requirements including cGMP, OSHA, FDA, EPA, NEC and UL.

Responsibilities

Provide leadership to ensure employee health and safety and monitor OSHA incident rates.
Manage predictive, preventative and corrective maintenance to improve equipment availability.
Oversee department expenses and budget compliance.
Lead Maintenance Electricians with coaching and mentoring.
Read/write capabilities with PLCs and HMIs; support automation projects.
Analyze maintenance costs and prioritize improvement actions.
Conduct root cause analyses and implement corrective actions.
Support ISO14001 Environmental Management System and vendor negotiations.
