Job summary
Pfizer Lead Automation & Maintenance Manager at the Chesterfield R&D site provides technical leadership for automation, electrical, and data systems supporting operations. You will drive reliability, regulatory compliance, and data-driven decisions, partnering with GWE sites to standardize solutions.
You will lead technical initiatives as a senior individual contributor, influence stakeholders, and define technical roadmaps while aligning with global standards and site needs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required with 4+ years’ experience, or advanced degree with corresponding experience.
- Experience extracting, analyzing, and presenting system data for leadership decisions.
- 5–8 years’ progressive experience in electrical, automation, or facility systems.
- Experience providing engineering operations and project support for facility systems.
Responsibilities
- Own site automation, electrical, and data systems reliability and lifecycle planning.
- Design system architecture and integrations to meet evolving site needs.
- Develop data models, dashboards, and analytics for operations and strategy.
- Lead energy and utility optimization through metering and data analysis.
- Ensure regulatory compliance to GMP/GLP/GCP and inspection readiness.
- Provide technical direction to service providers and project teams.
