Job summary

The Options Clearing Corporation (OCC) is seeking an experienced QA Automation Lead to design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks and tools supporting comprehensive testing across complex multi-system environments.

You will collaborate with software developers, project management, and customer support to ensure adherence to quality procedures and best practices, driving automation-first approaches and scalable testing strategies.

Qualifications

Automation framework experience (Cucumber, Selenium, Mocha/Chai, TestNG)
Experience in an Agile environment
Hands-on automation test code writing and use of industry-standard tools
Proficiency with automated testing types (Unit, Functional, Behavioral, Integration, Component)
Experience with web/Unix/Linux, distributed systems, and data-heavy environments
Strong ability to design test plans, automate tests, and analyze results
Understanding of SDLC and software application development processes

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks and test coverage
Collaborate with developers, PMs, and support to ensure quality standards
Create and execute automation test plans and assess testing efforts
Develop UI automation using Selenium/Protractor and Cucumber with TypeScript/JavaScript
Maintain Jenkins CI/CD pipelines and deployments
Run batch jobs, analyze logs, validate data loads, and report results
Mentor team members and drive automation across projects
