Job summary

The Options Clearing Corporation in Chicago is seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks and ensure robust test coverage for complex multi-system environments.

You will collaborate with software developers, project management, and customer support to implement an automation-first approach, build reusable tools, and contribute to performance and scalability testing efforts.

Qualifications

• Automated Testing framework experience (Cucumber, Selenium, Mocha/Chai, TestNG).
• Experience in Agile environments.
• Hands-on automation test code development with industry-standard tools.
• Proficiency in various automated testing types: Unit, Functional, Behavioral, Integration, Component.
• Strong data skills including SQL and databases.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain new and existing automation frameworks.
• Create, maintain, and execute automation test plans and analyze results.
• Collaborate with developers, PM, and support to ensure quality procedures are followed.
• Develop UI automation with Selenium/Protractor/Cucumber.
• Run batch jobs, validate data loads, and manage test environments.
