Job summary

The Senior Manager, Automation Engineering at Walmart leads the design, development, and deployment of automation solutions across the eCommerce fulfillment network. This role blends strategy with hands-on engineering to evolve facilities into next-gen automated environments for same-day and next-day delivery.

You will drive end-to-end project ownership, collaborate with robotics teams, and influence cross-functional partners to improve performance and reduce costs across the network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field with 4 years' experience in Engineering, supply chain, or related area.
• Option 2: 6 years' experience in Engineering, supply chain, or related area.
• 2 years' supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and implementation of automation solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
• Oversee project management activities ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.
• Analyze data to identify opportunities for process improvements and operational excellence.
• Develop and maintain process flow diagrams and technical documentation to support automation initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including supply chain and robotics to optimize system integration.
• Utilize AutoCAD and other engineering tools to support design and execution of automation projects.
• Drive continuous improvement efforts to streamline workflows and reduce operational costs.
