Intel is seeking a Senior Automation Systems Integration Engineer for its Foundry Back-End Automation team in the US (Phoenix, AZ). You will lead the definition, design, development, and deployment of automation software that supports TD and high-volume semiconductor manufacturing operations.

The role emphasizes integrating factory systems—equipment control, production activity control, MES, yield management, and SPC—to optimize throughput, product quality, and overall operational efficiency,

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related STEM field.
5+ years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing automation, systems integration, or related areas.
3+ years' experience with yield management systems (YMS), statistical process control (SPC), and automated yield/SPC workflows.

Responsibilities

Architect, develop, and deploy automation solutions with partners across wafer prep, die prep, and assembly test manufacturing.
Partner with manufacturing, equipment engineering, IT, process engineering, and quality teams to translate needs into automation solutions.
Maintain and improve software architecture, ensuring scalability, robustness, and maintainability.
Lead root-cause analysis and system-level debugging for complex integration issues.
Lead technical discussions, mentor junior engineers, and drive best practices across the automation team.
Explore industry disruptions to influence and intercept internal product roadmaps with specific features.
