Job summary

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated is seeking a Senior Automation Engineer to lead the design, development, and validation of automated manufacturing systems for high‑volume camera assembly in cleanrooms. You will drive Lean initiatives to improve safety, quality, throughput, and cost while collaborating across Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Maintenance.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, mechatronics, manufacturing, robotics engineering, or related field.
Master's degree preferred.
Minimum Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
Equivalent education, training, or experience considered.

Responsibilities

Lead design, development, validation of automated manufacturing systems for high‑volume camera assembly.
Improve safety, quality, throughput, and cost via automation and Lean manufacturing principles.
Collaborate with Operations, Quality, Product Engineering, Supply Chain, and Maintenance teams.
Establish equipment specifications, acceptance criteria, qualification protocols, and validation activities.
Analyze production data to improve OEE, yield, cycle time, reliability, and process capability.
Mentor engineers and technicians; manage automation and capital equipment projects.
