Job summary

Rockwell Automation Lead Engineer / Technical Manager is responsible for senior technical leadership and ownership of Rockwell-based control systems across manufacturing operations under GMP regulations.

The role combines hands-on authority with team and project management to deliver design, configuration, integration and lifecycle support of PLC and SCADA systems, while ensuring regulatory compliance and robust delivery.

Qualifications

• Degree in automation, control, electrical engineering or related discipline.
• Extensive senior hands-on experience with Rockwell Automation platforms (Allen-Bradley ControlLogix/CompactLogix, Studio 5000, FactoryTalk).
• Experience directing automation teams in GMP-regulated pharma/biotech environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership across Rockwell-based control and process automation systems.
• Own design, configuration, and lifecycle support of PLC/SCADA systems.
• Lead troubleshooting and incident resolution to minimise downtime.
• Drive CSV/GAMP5 activities and ensure data integrity per regulatory standards.
• Oversee change control, configuration management, and OT cybersecurity.
