Job summary

Amphenol ICC is seeking an Advanced Automation Engineer to focus on developing and supporting automation solutions for HSIO Overpass cable products. The successful candidate will work cross-functionally to improve design and manufacturing processes, ensuring the implementation of automation strategies that enhance productivity and efficiency.

The role requires a strong understanding of manufacturing automation and experience in mechanical and process engineering to provide technical recommendations and support for customers throughout the automation development lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in automation or manufacturing engineering.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and product documentation.
• Experience with automated manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison between engineering and operations for automation.
• Conduct design reviews for Overpass cable products.
• Support customers in developing automated installation systems.
