Job summary

Amphenol Corporation is seeking a Global Industrial Engineer to coordinate automation equipment planning and tracking across manufacturing sites. You will develop a centralized tracker, drive standardized reporting, and collaborate with Engineering, Operations and Program Management to optimize schedules and capacity.

The role requires a strong IE/Manufacturing background, excellent data skills in Excel/VBA, and the ability to communicate across global teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience in high-volume manufacturing, automation, production planning.
• Strong Excel skills including PivotTables, formulas, charts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across global teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and maintain the global schedule and tracking of automation equipment from planning to production readiness.
• Develop and maintain a centralized global automation equipment tracker with location, ownership, status, milestones.
• Work with manufacturing sites, Automation Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations, PM, and other teams to collect accurate data.
• Establish standardized processes and reporting methods for tracking automation equipment and communicating status across sites.
• Develop dashboards, reports, PivotTables, and VBA to communicate schedules, capacity, status, and constraints.
• Identify opportunities to automate scheduling, tracking, data collection, and reporting.
• Lead cross-site reviews of schedules, risks, and priorities; drive actions to resolution.
• Support equipment and capital planning for new product introductions, capacity expansions, and transfers.
• Travel to global locations up to 40% as required.
